What we are going through reminded us of stories of we heard of the plantation days; when in times of need and struggle people worked together as a community to share limited resources and skills to grow together.

We wanted to offer a small tribute to our local Japanese history in using a Palaka Print for our next set of Masks.  While our challenge is different, all people working together as one for a common goal for the greater good is rooted in values that are reminiscent of those times.

One size fits most. 

Some smaller people may find the mask slips off the face.  A knot can be tied on the elastic portion to tighten the mask as needed. 

Elastic will be either white or black.
